READgewood Tutoring is dedicated to offering free tutoring to children in the Ridgewood community. While we began with a focus on reading skills, we have since expanded to include sessions in math, science, and life skills.
Powers & Rights:
READgewood Tutoring is entitled to schedule a weekly two-hour tutoring class at Ridgewood Commons, coordinated in advance with the Programming Committee.
We may store class materials and supplies on-site, in a location arranged in collaboration with the Facilities Committee.
Responsibilities & Liability:
Tutors are responsible for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all students during sessions.
We are also accountable for ensuring that students respect the space and do not cause damage.
Each session will conclude with a full cleanup of the area used.
We will work with the fundraising committee to find ways to support the space.
All our adult tutors will sign MOUs to wave RC's responsiblity.
