### Some ideas for lists:

#### RC-events@

Lists all public events

- Type: Automated announce-only
- Schedule: Weekly or monthly?
- Title:format: 
    - "Ridgewood Commons, August 1-8 + <feature>
    - "Ridgewood Commons Events, August 1-8, 2025"
    - "Ridgewood Commons, August 1-8 + <aphorism/quote>
- Recurring duplicate events as standard block w/link to site page (Pantry, Yoga, Tutoring, CSA, etc.)
- Recurring changing events (screening, dinner) with heading, details/links/image.
- Footer: About blurb, onboarding & support pitch, link to other lists and socials.

#### RC-presents@

Lists all "unique" programming like film screenings, presentations, book readings, parties  
\+ Hopefully a dash of humor or inspiration?

- Type: Automated announce-only
- Schedule: Weekly or monthly?
- Title format:

Calls for community support re: organization needs, physical, skill, etc.  
\+ related solidarity orgs? Maybe limited to NYC/NYS?

- Schedule: As needed, monthly at most

Emergency / time-sensitive would be via socials only

#### RC-Spokes & Group Updates@

- Type: Automated + Handmade announce-only
- Schedule: Monthly
- Link to other lists and socials.

Monthly updates on spokes process, proposals, WG updates

WG updates will probably be like pulling teeth, so would benefit from a process like:

JMP # is registered to signal, messages from groups can be forwarded to @RCUpdates.1312, forwarded messages undergo light editing, also can take direct text messages with more edited content. Reminder to please not get upset at editors!

#### RC-Newsletter@

Quarterly or Bi-annual broad updates on recent events and upcoming efforts, with feature sections for high promo events

- Schedule: Quarterly or bi-annual
- Footer: About blurb, onboarding & support pitch, link to other lists and socials.

#### RC-community@ / RC-Mutual-Aid@

Kinda like ridgewood comunized but with delineated terms of use?

- Schedule: Chaos

### Automation

Ideally some content would be automatically generated from calendar or site feeds.

In drupal/backdrop, it'd be possible for events to be tagged as "feature" such that they get ingested differently, including an image.

I think it's nice to include some personality. Could be boring like we make a list of 52 little phrases or quotes.

### Non-automation

All lists including handmade content will obviously require work, and might not be sustainable.
