- Need for financial outline/update: For morale, for strategizing. (~LP)
- A lot of people are just super in the dark, and in the dark narratives take shape. Might be useful to broadcast a general outline of the next few months "tick-tock," demonstrating how it's being planned for, and to that extent, plugging in to related organizing.
- Need for social media strategizing (~LP)
- Coordinated content boosting: e.g. identify events and postings that make sense for people to repost and link.
- Similar for story content: Take advantage of entire org, funnel content from sub-IGs up to main and even out to bluesky/mastadon.
- Cohere around some blurbs/copy.
- Organizational vacancy around this strategizing.
- Need for in space signage (~LP)
- Create larger format, more attractive signage to inform visitors about space and needs. The $ plant is great, but probably should be more "front facing" material, e.g. on actual front door, attached to board by hatch. In longer term, possibly extra-large signage about steel pantry shelving?
- Need for clarification & documentation of spokes and comms structures (~LP)
- The spokes explainer and related info is available, but sometimes long, confusing, or scattered: i.e. the tempo of meetings was recently asked about in comms channels, should be front and center.
- Action idea: wiki hacking meeting, to break up explainer either into pages or more easily navigated sections, triaging info.
- The spokes explainer and related info is available, but sometimes long, confusing, or scattered: i.e. the tempo of meetings was recently asked about in comms channels, should be front and center.
I had just taken some notes the other day on the rc chats that exist. dumping that here: -p
- rc admin collective: day-to-day coordination between admin point people
- rc spokescouncil chat: inter-working group communication. open to WG delegates and bottom-liners
- rc spokescouncil announcements: announcements related to spokescouncil meetings (seems to be more broad now?)
- rc community announcements: announcements for wider community for stuff related to or aligned with the space.
